これは、パーソナルコンピュータの父といわれ、教育者でもあるアラン・ケイ(Alan Key)氏の言葉ですが、この内容を地で行く世界のトップランナーが078に来てくれました。それぞれの活動内容と考え方から、未来を自ら創りだすヒントを掴み取りましょう!

Monica is responsible for content programming and strategic partnerships at Seeed, the world’s third largest open source hardware company that provides a platform for innovators to go from prototype to production in Shenzhen, China. She focuses on cross-disciplinary collaborations with communities and industries, as well as curation at Maker Faire Shenzhen. She has many years of experience in both multinational companies and startups in the creative field, from fashion, internet, and entertainment. Since 2013, she has been active in the TEDx and maker communities in Asia and beyond, with a personal passion for social impact projects.

Co-founder and CEO, Looking Glass

Shawn is the CEO and co-founder of Looking Glass, a Brooklyn and Hong Kong-based startup that is advancing interactive lightfield interfaces (aka holographic displays) that do not require VR or AR headgear.
Prior to Looking Glass, over the past decade Shawn co-invented new technologies in the fields of green packaging, solar water disinfection, small-scale solar power, non-turbine wind power generation, and volumetric printing. For this work, he has been awarded the Popular Mechanics Breakthrough Award and noted as one of the ‘20 Best Brains Under 40’ by Discover Magazine.
Shawn has his B.S. in Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Aurelien Dailly is a transdisciplinarian worldwide explorer. He studied linguistic, philosophy, urbanism, musicology, marketing and cinema at ‘’Paris Vincennes’’ university. During his studies he spend more time in the street with hackers and artisans than on academic benches. He is now a global reporter, curator, booker, film maker and music journalist he also co-founded a non profit that aims to explore biohacking and open science communities. Gerrit Jan van ‘t Veen is a seasoned entrepreneur from The Netherlands. In the past years he has gradually created a network of ventures with a focus on innovation, technology, impact and supporting entrepreneurship. Although educated as a civil engineer he is currently most interested in decentralisation of resources in all kinds of sectors. He likes to help startups, students, citizens and many others to rethink and discover the opportunities of technology for positive change. Border Sessions Festival is one of the instruments to do so. This yearly festival unites people from all over the world with local pioneers to start new endeavours with tech and innovation.

Jun Yamadera founded EYES JAPAN CO. LTD. in 1995, the first IT startup from the University of Aizu, Fukushima. In the past 20 years, he has been working on various cutting edge projects such as exporting Fukushima rice via web in 1995, making world’s first virtual pottery system, making CG of historical archives of national treasure of Japanese castles, temples, traditional dances and medical motions using motion capture. He is a pioneer in Augmented Reality wearable technologies, Medical x IT and has been organizing world’s first medical security hackathon since 2012. His team won the the championship in Developers Challenge 2013 Health 2.0 in Silicon Valley. He is the Health 2.0 Fukushima Chapter Leader and a TEDxKobe 2015 Speaker. He started a project called “FUKUSHIMA Wheel” in the aftermath of the terrible disaster caused by the earthquake and nuclear accident in Fukushima, JAPAN in March 11, 2011.
